THIS SPECIAL DRINK MAY BE YOUR NEW FAVORITE!
A couple of weeks ago, the first Soba tea of my life arrived in the mail. I've never been a big tea drinker (not even that much of a water drinker), but I've always wanted to get my hands on something more valuable to drink than fizzy drinks. Soba tea came, tasted and won! That is why I consider it absolutely important to introduce it to the readers of Rúzs és Más.
Anytime, to anyone
In fact, it is not even tea at all , as this Far Eastern drink with a thousand-year-old tradition and a pleasant taste is made from toasted buckwheat, boiled with water in a similar way to tea. However, it does not contain caffeine or invigorating theobromine, but it does contain all the valuable active ingredients of gluten-free buckwheat! Consequently, it can be consumed by all ages at any time of the day. After roasting, sweet, biscuity, caramel flavors are released, and thanks to its special aroma, it has a high enjoyment value even without sugar, both cold and hot. The tea from 24 Tea Soba, which I liked, also completely blew me away with its nutty flavor notes. In addition to the basic flavor, a coconut version is also available, the aroma of which is made even more complex by natural coconut flakes.
From Japan to Hungary
Soba tea has had a long journey to Hungary. The drink originates from the northern, cooler regions of Japan, where the main source of livelihood was buckwheat cultivation. At a glance, we can tell that this is not exactly the same buckwheat from which the porridge is made, but a variety bred in East Asia, which spread mainly in China, Tibet, South Korea and Japan. Most recently, tartar buckwheat, grown in Korea's Gangwon Province, is a favorite because it has a nuttier flavor and contains more rutin (a plant compound found in certain fruits and vegetables known for its powerful antioxidant properties). 24teashop.hu its owners encountered buckwheat tea for the first time in the country of another tea-drinking nation, Russia, which is how Soba tea, marketed under the name 24 Tea, ended up.
Cheers!
In addition to its pleasant taste, Soba tea has significant positive effects on our health. The small-sized, thin-shelled seeds of the tartar buckwheat, which provides the raw material, are much richer in various active ingredients, vitamins and minerals than the cereal we know. Soba tea preserves the valuable active ingredients of buckwheat and offers all the benefits of green tea, caffeine-free!

Boil 1 teaspoon of Soba tea with 2 dl of water and steep for 3-5 minutes.
Tip: make a larger quantity at once, up to one and a half litres. You can safely leave the water on the tea, it will not become bitter. Once the tea has been drunk, the seeds can be poured twice more, but for the second/third pouring, let them soak for a longer time!
